Exploring Edinburgh's Events - November 2019

Monday, 4 November 2019 Edinburgh, UK

Happy November! We're into our last month of autumn and it's been an awfully rainy start, but on the bright side, there's a lovely mix of events to look forward to and you'll be glad to hear that most of them are indoors. I've also noticed that there are several festive-themed workshops and events taking place this month, so I think it's safe to mention the C-word as Christmas is less than 2 months away! Hope you enjoy the few events I've selected and have a lovely November!

P.S. I'd love for this blog to be a space to share recommendations so if there's anything you feel I've missed, please do leave it in the comment section below.

Spotlight on...

Rosevear Herbal Tea Tasting (17 Clerk Street, 15th November)

Rosevear Tea is holding another one of their popular tea events with Joseph Nolan on the 15th November at 7pm. Having been to a previous tea tasting led by Joseph and the Rosevears, I know what a treat is in store for you and I'm so gutted that I'll be out of Edinburgh for it! The event will focus on the benefits that drinking teas and herbal infusions can have on our health and a few teas you can look forward to are ‘Orange Blossom Verveine’, whole ‘Hibiscus’ petals, ‘Rhubarb Rooibos’, ‘Yunnan White Buds' and ‘Ripened Pu’erh’.

If you would like to attend the event please buy tickets (£15) in one of our stores or send Rosevear tea DM on Instagram.

Leith Arches Launch Night (6 Manderston Street, 15th November)

I had no idea about this exciting development until I was doing a little research to find out what was going on this month. I know there are some mixed feelings about the Waverley Arches, but I personally love them and can't wait to see what the Leith Arches will be like. The Leith Arches will be hosting a launch night on the 15th November from 6pm and their first street food market will open on the 16th & 17th November!

Creative Colonies (Stockbridge Colonies, 17th November)

Again, I'm gutted to be out of town for this as I would have liked to have attended but for those of you who haven't heard of the Creative Colonies, it's the Stockbridge Colonies annual sale of  their unique merchandise created by their arty Colonies residents. Might be a great opportunity to pick up a few unique Christmas gifts! Check out www.stockbridgecolonies.com.  to see who's participating or simply turn up on the day and visit the houses with balloons at the front door!
